“Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane has inked a deal with 20th Century Fox worth a rumored $100 million, a whopping amount that will make him television’s highest-paid writer/producer. Negotiations took place over two years with the deal lasting through 2012 and covering MacFarlane’s work on “Family Guy,” along with his other animated series, “American Dad,” and the upcoming spinoff “The Cleveland Show.” The “Family Guy” franchise has grown to a worth of $1 billion, fueled by immensely popular DVDs and merchandise. Not bad for a show canceled twice.
